Ethical Chic | My Love for Soko Jewelry and How It Empowers Artisans in Kenya

If you’re like me, you appreciate beautiful accessories that not only look good but also have a meaningful story behind them. That’s why I’m excited to share my love for Soko Jewelry, a women-led ethical jewelry brand that connects artisans in Kenya with the global marketplace. I recently got my hands on their stunning Bidu Statement ring and Bidu stud earrings, and I’m obsessed!
One of the things that drew me to Soko Jewelry is their commitment to ethical and sustainable practices. As a conscious consumer, it’s important to me to support brands that prioritize social impact and sustainability. Soko Jewelry works with local artisans in Kenya, providing them with fair wages, safe working conditions, and access to global markets. This empowers these artisans to create beautiful pieces while also improving their livelihoods and supporting their communities. It’s a win-win!
Now, let’s talk about the jewelry itself. I’m currently rocking the Bidu Statement ring and Bidu stud earrings, and they are absolutely stunning. The Bidu Statement ring is a true showstopper with its unique design and bold presence. I love how it adds an instant touch of chic to any outfit, whether it’s dressed up or down.

The Bidu stud earrings, on the other hand, are more delicate but still pack a punch with their minimalist yet statement-making design. They are perfect for everyday wear and add a touch of elegance to any look.

What I also love about Soko Jewelry is their use of sustainable materials. They use upcycled brass and reclaimed horn in their jewelry, reducing waste and minimizing their environmental impact. It’s a beautiful blend of creativity and sustainability, and it makes me feel good knowing that I’m wearing jewelry that is not only stylish but also environmentally responsible.

I also appreciate the attention to detail in the craftsmanship of Soko Jewelry. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted by local artisans, resulting in unique and high-quality pieces of art. I love knowing that I’m wearing jewelry that is not mass-produced but rather made with care and passion by skilled artisans who take pride in their craft.
As a jewelry lover and conscious consumer, Soko Jewelry has truly captured my heart. Their commitment to ethical and sustainable practices, along with their stunning designs, make them a brand that I’m proud to support. I’m excited to continue wearing my Bidu Statement ring and Bidu stud earrings, knowing that they carry a meaningful story and empower artisans in Kenya.

First of all, your skin is juicy and healthy! I love the glow.
What I like about spring… it’s the transition between winter and summer. People start to be happier and friendly.
The Jewelry is so pretty and I love that it supports our culture and beliefs. I need to research more on things that give back to our community. Do you know how they make the earrings, my ears are so sensitive, I dont buy many anymore unless they are good for sensitive ears.
My favorite part of spring is the temperature 56-65 degrees is where I live haha, anything cooler or hotter isnt for me. The trees and flowers bloom are beautiful too. They are bad allergies and some have it bad but If your allergies dont act up or if you have medicine for it, it makes for a nice day outside.
Hi, first of all I like to congratulation you on your new chapter in your life. I love, love, love watching your blogs. I’ve been watching you before you cut you locs. What I love about spring is the transition I enjoy seeing the flowers bloom.
